Our Story
A&P Woodworking is a family owned and operated business started in 1968 by Pietro DiPlacido. Pietro learned the art of Cabinet Making in Argentina from his father Michael DiPlacido. They migrated to the United States in 1964 and shortly after Michael DiPlacido returned to Argentina to continue his furniture and kitchen business. Pietro stayed in America and in 1968 started A&P Woodworking Inc. Most of the kitchen back in those days were built using laminate. Pietro’s sons started working for the family business as soon as they were old enough and never stopped. For over twenty years they have been building wood kitchens.
Today A&P specializes in Residential and Commercial, custom made cabinetry. We work closely with our customers whether you are a Homeowner, General Contractor, Designer, or Architect. A&P Woodworking takes pride in the quality of our craftsmanship and the service we provide our customers.
All A&P Kitchens are built on site in our shop using 3/4 plywood construction. All of the doors used are outsourced to Conestoga Wood Specialties. Our laminates are provided by tier 1 providers including Wilsonart, Formica and Pionite. We use all Soft-close hinges and drawerslides, Blum ,Grass, and Rev A Shelf.
